File and rasp manufacturers since 1927
1927 - 1987
Almost 100 years ago, in 1927, engineers Jose Azaldegui and Nicasio Amiano established in Tolosa the AZALDEGUI and AMIANO file and rasp factory, ERIZO brand, being the first file factory in Spain.
In 1940 José Enrique Macho Díaz and his nephew Darío Alonso Díaz founded Representaciones Madi, the origin of the current Aghasa Madi and Aghasa Turis. The first and original activity of R. Madi was the sale of Erizo limes. Sales and collaboration that has lasted until today.
Jose Azaldegui managed the factory until 1973, when Amiano's sons took over.
1987 - 2021
In 1987, the workers, led by Ricardo Uberetagoena, founded Limesco, S.A.L., following
with the total activity of the company and trying to overcome the crisis of the 1980s.
In 1993, once the company had stabilized and taking advantage of a change of location, ERIZO, S.A. was founded.
The reference shareholders were Ramón Arrue and Ricardo Uberetagoena himself, who, with the
family coverage, in 2008, took full control of the company.
During this period, the gradual outsourcing of certain operations began, in order to have the most specialized and efficient manufacturing processes for each of the manufacturing stages. The final process of quality control, presentation, packaging and labeling remained in Tolosa.
2021 - News
In 2021, coinciding with the retirement of Ricardo Uberetagoena, we have jointly decided to continue from AGHASA TURIS the activity of ERIZO, S.A. for which we have our experience in the sale of limes, in Madrid for more than 80 years, and with the advice of the brothers Ricardo and Eusebio Uberetagoena.
