It is a high-performance HSS-E Co5 countersink, with a Split Point cutting geometry to DIN 1412 C, ensuring accurate centring and a controlled cutting start in demanding materials.

It is CBN-ground with optimised chip-evacuation flutes, giving smooth machining with less noise, vibration and burr formation, even in high-alloy steels such as stainless steels V2A and V4A, as well as non-ferrous metals, thermoplastics, hard plastics and sheet metal up to 4 mm thick. It has 3 cutting edges and a bright finish. It is manufactured to DIN 335 type C, with a 90° countersink angle and a 118° cutting angle, right-hand cutting and cylindrical shank. It belongs to the SUPERIOR range of ERIZO.
