It is an HSS countersink with a special black-coloured titanium nitride coating, with a Split Point cutting geometry to DIN 1412 C, ensuring accurate centring and a controlled cutting start.

It is CBN-ground with optimised chip-evacuation flutes, with 5 cutting edges that provide greater stability and more efficient chip clearance. The black TiN coating is designed for dry machining and offers higher performance with coolant than gold TiN, in non-ferrous metals, steel, thermoplastics and hard plastics, as well as sheet metal up to 4 mm thick. It is manufactured to DIN 335 type C, with a 90° countersink angle and a 118° cutting angle, right-hand cutting and cylindrical shank. It belongs to the EVOMAXX range of ERIZO, the highest-performing range.
